Double Fantasy Fudge

Ingredients:
– Three sticks of butter
– Six cups of sugar
– Two five-ounce cans of evaporated milk
– 12-ounce bag of chocolate chips
– 1 c. peanut butter
– Two large jars of marshmallow creme
– 2 tsp. vanilla extract

In a deep saucepan, combine one and a half sticks of butter, three cups of sugar, and one can of evaporated milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue stirring and boiling until temperature reaches 234 degrees F on a candy thermometer.

Remove from heat and stir in one cup of peanut butter, one jar of marshmallow creme, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour into a greased 13-by-9-inch pan. Place in refrigerator to cool.

Clean all equipment, dry thoroughly, and prepare a second batch of fudge, using the remaining ingredients and substituting the chocolate chips for the peanut butter in the second batch. Pour the second batch of fudge on top of the first and return to refrigerator to chill. Cut into small squares and serve.

Makes about six pounds of fudge.
